Every class. Every day.
Every student understood.
Communication access for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students through interpreting, captioning, and blended support. Designed around each student, and matched to your state's educational interpreter requirements.
Whether your district needs on-site support, remote access, CART captioning, or a combination of services, Partners Interpreting helps ensure students have access to learning from the first day of school.

Finding qualified providers shouldn't determine whether a student has access to education.
School districts across the country face the same challenge:
An uncovered class isn't just a scheduling problem.
It's lost access to instruction.
That's why we created the K-12 Classroom Communication Access Program.
A flexible communication access solution that combines interpreting, captioning, technology, coordination, and dedicated support into one program.
One program. Every student's solution.
Every student is different.
Their communication access plan should be too.
Remote ASL Interpreting
Qualified interpreters delivered by video, giving districts access to K-12 experienced educational interpreters wherever they are located.
Live Remote Captioning (CART)
Real-time, word-for-word captioning for students who use text-based communication access.
On-Site ASL Interpreting
Educational interpreters supporting daily classroom instruction, peer interaction, group work, assemblies, field trips, and school events.
Blended Solutions
Some students benefit from a combination of services.
We help determine when onsite support, virtual access, captioning, CDI services, TypeWell, translation services, or additional communication access resources may best support the student's educational experience.
Six reasons districts stay with us.
Access Beyond Geography
When local recruiting falls short, your district gains access to a network of qualified providers, wherever they are located.
Consistency Students Can Count On
Students learn best when they work with familiar professionals. We build dedicated teams that understand the student's communication preferences, classroom environment, and educational goals.
Reliability
Remote services remove many of the barriers that create coverage disruptions — no travel, traffic, or weather — helping districts maintain more consistent access throughout the school year.
Compliance, Handled
Educational interpreter requirements differ in every state. We match providers to your state's requirements, screen every provider ourselves, and manage compliance throughout the engagement.
Communication Access Expertise
Partners Interpreting is owned and operated by nationally certified interpreters who understand the realities of educational communication access. Every provider is screened and vetted.
Support Beyond Staffing
Our team assists with onboarding, scheduling coordination, technology setup, classroom testing, and ongoing support throughout the school year.
Our remote-first model removes geography from the equation.
Finding qualified educational interpreters has become one of the biggest challenges facing school districts.
Many districts spend months recruiting only to face:
Instead of limiting your district to providers within driving distance, we connect students with qualified communication access professionals wherever they are located.
That means
Because every student deserves access, regardless of where they live.

Interpreters belong in person, in the classroom, with the student.
Our founders, Paul Tracy and Jenn Maloney, are certified, deaf-parented interpreters who have long believed interpreters belong in person, in the classroom, with the student. Since COVID, in-person placement has only gotten harder, so we had to get creative about what access can look like without losing sight of the student.
We looked at what drives interpreters away from K-12: long hours alone, sole responsibility for a role no one else in the building fully understands, and no built-in support. We also looked at what trips districts up when they hire: accurately assessing qualifications, understanding and respecting the interpreter's role, offering sustainable pay, and figuring out what a given student actually needs.
In an ideal world, every Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing student has an interpreter physically in the room. But that ideal is exactly what limits who can do the work. Virtual expands the pool of qualified interpreters considerably, and makes it much easier to match the right person to the right student.
At the end of the day, this is about getting more Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing kids the quality of access they deserve.

No. Depending on the assignment, we may recommend on-site, remote, captioning, or blended solutions — and we'll tell you which one genuinely serves the student.
Yes. The program can be structured around a single student, multiple students, or district-wide communication access needs.
Service begins at standard community rates. Once your dedicated team is secured, lower program rates apply — because the team commits to the school-year schedule. Your consultation ends with a written quote, so your district knows exactly what to budget.
