Throughout this program there will be hands on sessions during small group activities and questions and answers.

Objectives: At the completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Form a basic concept of ProTactile and it’s philosophy
  • Define ProTactile and it’s components
  • Acknowledge that PT is still evolving just like any other languages
  • Describe how PT is essential for the DeafBlind community
  • Demonstrate at least seven PT interpreting cues
  • Form basic receptive and expressive skills through PT/PTASL
  • Assimilate the ergonomics of PT

The CEUs for this workshop are sponsored by LifeBridge, an approved RID CMP sponsor for Continuing Education activities.  This Professional Studies program is offered for 0.6 CEUs at the little/None content knowledge level.  For any questions about CEUs, please contact hbohman@LifeBridgeCT.org
