Patti Medbery, NIC
Patti was born and raised in RI. Upon graduating high school she traveled across the country and throughout Europe. Patti eventually settled down in Massachusetts and became connected to The Learning Center T.L.C. for Deaf children in Framingham. She began taking ASL classes there and after T.L.C. Patti went to Northern Essex Community College where she graduated from the Interpreting Training Program I.T.P in 2000. Patti has worked at the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing MCDHH, coordinating the after-hours emergency on call services for seven years. Patti became state screened while at MCDHH, which granted her the honor of interpreting. Patti became nationally certified in 2009 and began her freelance career soon afterwards. Outside of interpreting, she spend the majority of her time trying to keep up with her awesome daughter.
